In the coming days, New Yorkers will be welcomed with a multifaceted advertising campaign focused on enhancing safety in electric micromobility.
This initiative is part of the city's comprehensive plan to improve safety and regulation for electric scooters, bikes, and other micromobility devices, as reported yesterday by BoroPark24.
The city's DOT has rolled out a robust campaign to inform and educate the public about the new Electric Micromobility Action Plan. The campaign will span various media platforms, including subways, buses, digital kiosks, online outlets, social media, radio, and targeted ethnic media newspapers.
The city invested $1 million dollars in this education campaign to further raise public awareness about the historic increase in lithium-ion battery fires in New York City .
A standout feature of this campaign is its inclusivity. The ads have been translated into more than 10 languages to ensure that all residents are clearly informed about the new regulations and safety guidelines.
