By BoroPark24 Staff

A carbon monoxide call over the weekend led to a massive bust at a location housing multiple illegal scooters, on 41th Street and 9th Avenue.

The initial call prompted an FDNY response to ensure the safety of residents. When the FDNY returned this afternoon for a follow-up, they discovered multiple illegal mopeds, leading to the revelation of a full repair shop for illegal e-bikes, mopeds, and dirt bikes.

A major operation was quickly launched, involving the FDNY, Special Hazmat Unit, NYPD 66th Precinct, NYC Intelligence Bureau, Fire Marshals, NYPD Field Intelligence, and the Bureau of Fire Prevention.

BoroPark24 confirmed that at least one stolen scooter and various other stolen parts. All residents were evacuated, and the building was vacated due to numerous code violations.
