Four people have died, and dozens have gotten infections from using eye drops tainted with bacteria,  according to the CDC. 

EzriCare and Delsam Pharma’s artificial tears, along with Delsam Pharma artificial ointment, have been linked to the deaths and eighty-one infections reported in eighteen states, including New York.

The CDC suggests that those suffering from signs or symptoms of an eye infection should seek medical care immediately.
