BDE: Mrs. Leah Klein, a”h

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Leah Klein, a longtime Boro Park resident of the she’eiris hapleitah. She was 97 years of age and passed away over Shabbos. 

The nifteres was the daughter of Reb Tovia and Feiga Fleishcman of Hungary and was fortunate to emerge from the Holocaust while so many of her friends and relatives did not. She married Reb Binyomin Klein, an ardent Munkatcher Chossid, and together they built a beautiful Torah home. 

She was a pillar of the Brizdovitzer shul, where she is remembered for her heartfelt tefillos.

“She was always filled with simchas hachaim, and was always young at heart and me’urav bein habriyos,” recalled one member of the shul. “Ehrlich and filled with yiras Shomayim, while able to relate to all kinds of people.”
