BDE: Reb Yosef Elya Teitelbaum, z”l

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of R’ Yosef Elya Teitelbaum, z”l. He suffered a sudden heart attack on Friday, and was niftar in the moments ushering in Shabbos. 

 

The news rippled through the community, bringing shock and sadness to the niftar’s many family and friends. 

 

He was a fixture in the Sigheter Beis Medrash of Boro Park where he was a beloved member, and where shabbos came in under a pall of sadness with the shocking news.

 

The levaya will take place at the Sigheter Beis medrash, 1511 50th street, at 10:00 Sunday morning.
