Bobov-45 to Inaugurate New Cheder Building in the Center of Boro Park

An emotional and joyful event in the annals of the history of the Bobov-45 chassidus will take place this coming Thursday, as the Tinnokos Shel Beis Rabban—led by the Rebbe shlit”a—will formally inaugurate the new Talmud Torah building on the corner of 15th Avenue and 41st Street. 

This comes as the chassidus, which is growing by leaps and bounds, has been acquiring and building for their mosdos on numerous sites around Boro Park—the latest one being the acquisition of the former Kings Building Supply building on 15th Avenue, near 38th Street for the Mesivta building, all the while construction on the massive new beis medrash on 49th Street. 

The Talmud Torah building has stood as an empty eyesore for many years, and was formerly owned by the Munkatcher girl’s school. Over two years, it has undergone a miraculous rehabilitation, and had multiple floors added to it as well. 

It currently stands as a beautiful seven-story edifice with multiple majestic balconies where the children will be able to air out between their learning sedorim.  

This Thursday, the Rebbe will preside over an event to formally inaugurate the building, together with the talmidim and their rebbeim. Following this, a special event of appreciation will take place for the generous donors who helped make this building a reality.   

As this grand Talmud Torah building opens its doors to the hundreds of talmidim, it will surely be with a renewed vigor and with an eye toward being mechanech the talmidim for generations to come.
