Captured Moment: LBJ and RFK in Boro Park

Captured Moment: LBJ and RFK in Boro Park

The year was 1964, and President Lyndon B. Johnson was campaigning for reelection, along with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the streets of Boro Park. They are seen here, along with a distinguished-looking rov on a corner of Boro Park.

Can any of our readers guess the location?

Answer to last week’s Captured Moment:

As many of our readers guessed correctly, this towering building in the center of Boro Park is none other than 4701 15th Avenue, and holds so much history within it. Its esteemed resident was the Rosh Yeshiva of Kletzk and Lakewood, Rav Aharon Kotler, zt"l, and another apartment was occupied by the legendary Reb Yossele Rosenblatt, the all-time "king of chazzonim."
