Carbon Monoxide Leak and Power Outage on Dahill

Smoke rising from manholes along Dahill Road early Thursday morning forced some residents out of their homes and left part of the block without power.

According to Con Edison, two manholes emitted smoke and released carbon monoxide into a nearby building, prompting an evacuation. Neighbors described flickering lights before a full power outage affected around a dozen customers, and utility crews remained on site through the night.
