Catskills Members Invited to Weigh In on DOT Upgrades on Route 17 Exits
By Y.M. Lowy
A stretch of Route 17 in Sullivan County is set for a major upgrade, and the state wants to hear from the people who use it every day. Interchanges at Exits 103, 104, and 107 are being redesigned to improve traffic flow, and the New York State Department of Transportation will hold a public open house to explain the plans and take comments.
The meeting will take place on Monday, July 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello. Anyone who regularly drives this part of the highway is encouraged to stop in and share input.
