A disturbing attack inside the 86th Street N train station in Bay Ridge has police asking for the public’s help.

Yesterday at 4:10 p.m., a 73-year-old man was waiting on the platform when he got into an argument with another rider. The dispute quickly turned violent. Police say the other man grabbed the senior’s cane and began beating him with it.

The victim was left with a serious cut near his eye and a broken arm. EMS rushed him to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, where he’s recovering.

The attacker ran off and has not been found. Police released a photo showing a man with a beard, last seen wearing a white vest, black pants, gray sneakers, and orange gloves.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD.
