Dr. Mitchell Katz of the NYC Health Department noted how all segments of the Jewish community were wearing masks and properly social distancing over Yom Kippur at Mayor Bill de Blasio's daily press briefing.

Katz mentioned that "one of the colleagues we have been working with sent us a photo of the 'Bubobovich' wearing a mask with his shtreimel, and that picture had gone viral all over the city..."
