Fire at Maimonides Medical Center

Multiple FDNY units responded to Maimonides Medical Center late this afternoon after reports of a fire stemming from an overheated HVAC system, which caused significant smoke on the 1st and 2nd floors.

Thankfully, the situation was contained, and no injuries were reported.

A helicopter is currently hovering over Boro Park as emergency responders work to ensure the safety of everyone inside Maimonides Hospital.
