Gateway Project CEO Steps Down

Just 2 weeks ago, BoroPark24 reported on the progress of the Gateway project to build a second Amtrak tunnel from New York to New Jersey.

But now, the CEO of the project, Kris Kolluri, announced that he’s stepping down from his position. This announcement comes on the heels of him being mentioned multiple times in the indictment of George Norcross. Norcross is a Democratic political figure in New Jersey who is charged with using his political influence for extortion and corruption. Although Kolluri doesn’t have any charges against him, he is mentioned several times in the business dealings of Norcross. 

Kolluri did not mention the indictment in his resignation letter and did not give a reason for stepping down.
