Hatzalah Ambulance Flipped Over While Responding to Emergency

A Hatzalah ambulance driving to an emergency call was flipped over on its side after being side-swapped by an oncoming vehicle at the intersection of 14th Avenue and 39th Street on Thursday afternoon.

Multiple emergency services responded to the incident, including ESU, FDNY Hatzalah and Shomrim to help overturn the vehicle.

One Hatzalah member who was in the vehicle when it flipped over was transported to a nearby medical center with minor injuries.
