Suspect Stole Vehicle During Gas Station Stop, Pushing Out People from Inside

The NYPD released an image of the suspect in Sunday night’s carjacking incident that happened at the gas station, corner 18th Avenue and 60th Street.

Shortly before 12:00am, the driver of the vehicle went to the gas station attendant to get a receipt for payment, when the suspect can be seen approaching the vehicle and entering the driver’s side.

Video footage from brained and released by Shomrim shows the other passengers exiting and fleeing from inside vehicle as the chaos ensued.

Just seconds later the suspect is seen driving away with the 2022 Honda Odyssey.
