Major Green Infrastructure Project Begins in Boro Park; Expect Many Street Closures
By BoroPark24 Staff
As reported by BoroPark24, a major green infrastructure grant will soon transform the streets of Boro Park with extensive roadway and drainage upgrades aimed at improving environmental sustainability and stormwater management.
Today, construction crews were seen working on 44th Street and 14th Avenue, officially marking the launch of the large-scale renovation project. The work is part of a citywide initiative to modernize infrastructure, reduce flooding, and enhance street safety for both pedestrians and motorists.
Over the coming months, residents across Boro Park can expect to see many street closures, detours, and construction activity as the project advances block by block.
BoroPark24 will continue to provide real-time updates on street closures, detours, and construction progress in direct coordination with the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), helping residents stay informed and prepared as this important project moves forward.
