Mayor Adams Begins Re-Election Campaign
By Y.M. Lowy
Mayor Eric Adams began his campaign for a second term on Thursday with a speech on the steps of City Hall. Supporters stood behind him holding signs and chanting “Four more years.”
Adams said he is proud of what he has done as mayor and wants to continue leading the city. He described himself as someone who works hard and criticized his opponent, Zohran Mamdani, who is making promises that are not realistic.
Now, Adams is hoping voters will focus on what he sees as his results and leadership as he begins his run for another four years in office.
