Metropolitan Bank Hangs Out Its Shingle

The new Boro Park Metropolitan Commercial Bank, located on 13th Avenue and 51st Street, seems one step closer to opening after purchasing the property this past summer for $13.2 million, as BoroPark24 reported

The bank had signs hung this morning on its new, more prominent location right across the street from its current site. The new bank location has replaced Rite Aid Pharmacy, which closed its doors on October 11, 2021.

Metropolitan Commercial Bank calls itself "The Entrepreneurial Bank Since 1999," with the Boro Park location specializing in commercial lending. 

The bank's Google Map profile already lists the new location, 5102 13th Avenue, as its current address, even though they have yet to move across the street. It is still being determined which business will take over Metropolitan Bank's current site.
