More Bomb Threats to Jewish Institutions
by BoroPark24 Staff
Many Jewish Institutions across New York State received yet another round of bomb threats today, December 24.
Last week, Jewish institutions across the US received nearly 200 bomb and swatting incident threats. Earlier in the month, as reported by BoroPark24 here Identical bomb threats to shuls were also called in.
The Community Security Initiative (CSI) shares that it is working with law enforcement partners to actively investigate today's situation.
At this time, there is no evidence that these threats are founded, and there are no known, credible threats to the Jewish community in New York at this time.
If your institution received a threat or receives one in the future, contact your local police (911) immediately and inform your CSI Regional Security Director.
As always, and particularly during this time of heightened tensions, CSI encourages the community to practice increased situational awareness and to review security protocols and procedures for every at-risk institution.
