Trash, recycling, and composting will not be collected on Monday, Dec. 25. Residents whose collection day is usually Mondays should take out their trash, recycling, and compost containers on Monday evening for collections that restart on Tuesday, December 26.

Residents may experience collection delays, which are common after holidays.

“We appreciate your patience as we work to collect the backlog of materials,” says the DSNY.
