Paving Alert: Street Work Scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The city is carrying out more milling and paving work in parts of Boro Park this week. Here’s a quick breakdown of where and when it’s happening:

Wednesday

• Milling on New Utrecht Avenue between 50th and 61st Street at night

Thursday

• Paving 43rd Street between Dahill Road and Fort Hamilton Parkway by day
• Milling on New Utrecht Avenue between 50th and 61st Street at night 

Friday

• Finishing the paving on 43rd Street between Dahill Road and Fort Hamilton Parkway by day 
• Finishing the milling on New Utrecht Avenue between 50th and 61st Street at night

Towing operations will take place in the area ahead of the scheduled work, please be sure to look out for posted signage nearby.

While the streets are quieter with many families upstate for the summer, residents should still be ready for traffic shifts and occasional closures. Boro Park residents are grateful to the DOT for taking advantage of the summer lull to get this essential work done with less disruption.
