Police are looking for a man they say is behind at least a dozen robberies across Brooklyn over the past seven weeks. The pattern stretches across several neighborhoods, including one robbery just outside Boro Park.

The incidents began on Oct. 13 inside 557 Atlantic Avenue, where a 35 year old worker said the man threatened her before taking cash from the register. Ten days later, on Oct. 23 at 537 Atlantic Avenue, he again waited for a register to open before reaching over the counter and running off with cash.

On Nov. 5 inside 663 President Street, the suspect asked a 29 year old worker to exchange money, then grabbed the cash once the drawer opened and pushed her to the ground. Three days later on Nov. 8, he struck at 2230 Church Avenue and simulated a weapon while ordering a 25 year old worker to open her register.

The next day, on Nov. 9, he took money from a register inside 350 Flatbush Avenue after asking a worker to exchange cash. On Nov. 20 inside 1 Flatbush Avenue, police say he forcibly took a woman’s wallet as she tried to deposit money into an ATM. Two days later, near Court Street, he pushed another woman to the ground after she withdrew cash from an ATM and took her money before running north.

The pattern continued on Nov. 24 when he grabbed cash from a register after an 18 year old worker opened it, and again on Nov. 26 at 501 Atlantic Avenue, where he displayed a knife before taking money and fleeing.

On Nov. 28, he targeted two more stores. The first was inside 539 Flatbush Avenue, where he showed a knife to a 22 year old employee. Later that day, inside 680 Fulton Street, he asked a worker to exchange money, then displayed a knife and took cash.

The final known incident happened on Nov. 30 inside 80 Dekalb Avenue. Police say the man jumped over the counter, showed a knife and took money after the worker refused his request to exchange cash.

The suspect is described as a male about six feet tall with a slim build and a dark complexion. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the NYPD
