Sefer Torah in Memory of R’ Yisroel Shalom Oshry to be Dedicated Today

This Afternoon, family and friends of Reb Yisroel Sholom Oshry, a wonderful and beloved yingerman from the Belzer community in Boro Park who tragically perished in an accident in Mountaindale last summer, will gather to commemorate his legacy by donating a Sefer Torah in his memory. 

R’ Yisroel Shalom was blessed with countless friends and admirers, including his Chaverim in the Belzer shtiebel where he davened. 

They have come together to dedicate a Sefer Torah which will remain at the shtiebel for many years to come, just as R’ Yisroel Sholom’s memory will remain in their hearts forever.  

Following the inauguration of the Sefer Torah at the Belzer shtiebel at 5510 16th Avenue, a seudas mitzvah will take place the Sterling Ballroom to celebrate this momentous occasion as well as the neshamah of this precious ba’al chessed and ba’al tzeddakah who was prematurely taken from our midst.
