Storm Flooding: Boro Park Still Getting Flooded

Today’s storm brought widespread flooding to Boro Park, with many street corners submerged under water. While some blocks have green infrastructure, these features are not evenly distributed across the neighborhood.

Residents on flood-prone streets expressed frustration, calling for city officials to expand green infrastructure and improve maintenance. 

Until upgrades are made, locals are encouraged to clear storm drains and report flooding to 311. 

The need for long-term fixes has never been clearer.
