Suspect Arrested for Stealing Bikes, Assaulting Shomrim Volunteer

One suspect was arrested by NYPD for stealing bikes and assaulting multiple people including a Shomrim volunteer. 

The suspect was arrested on Tuesday night after a fight broke out at 19th Avenue and 52nd Street. Shomrim responded to the call when the suspect tried to steal a bike.

Shomrim received multiple hotline calls in regards, a member was assaulted at the scene and was treated by hatzolah for minor injuries. 

The suspect was taken into custody at the 66pct.
