Three Break-Ins in Building on Church Ave
By Y.M. Lowy
A building on Church Avenue has been struck by a troubling string of break-ins.
The first incident occurred early on February 4, when a suspect smashed a side window with a rock and stole a black bag. On May 15, a burglar forced open a side door and made off with $360 and credit cards. Just over a week later, on May 24, another break-in involved the suspect climbing a fence, damaging a wall, and stealing $300 in cash.
All three break-ins happened overnight. Thankfully, no one was injured. Surveillance footage from the latest incident has been released, and the NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the individual.
