Viznitz Boro Park Moisdes in Contract for Two Properties

The Viznitzer institutions, led by the Viznitzer Rebbe of Boro Park, have been steadily growing, and the high schools of both the boys and the girls yeshivos have outgrown their current space. This led askonim on a search for suitable properties to expand the mosdos, and this week, the news comes that they entered into contract for two properties. 

The first is for the boys Yeshiva K’tana—a yeshiva of more than one hundred bachurim, currently located above the shul on New Utrecht and 53rd Street. They have long outgrown this space, and their new home will be at 60th Street between 11th and 12th Avenue—a warehouse currently occupied by B & B Party Rental. 

The second property—41st Street near New Utrecht Avenue, not far from the current girls school which houses both the elementary and high school divisions—will house the high school. It will stand at five stories when completed. 

Askonim of the chassidus hope to begin construction on both lots in the coming months, and soon boast completed edifices for chinuch on Boro Park’s Torah landscape.
