Weeks Marine Joins South Brooklyn Marine Terminal Project

As reported by BoroPark24 a few weeks ago, an offshore wind port, the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal, or SBMT, is being constructed near Brooklyn.

The port will act as a storing and manufacturing facility to support various wind projects that will eventually be able to power half of New York through renewable energy.

Construction is now in full swing, and various companies have announced their partnership with the project. Weeks Marine, a construction engineering company, recently announced that they will be a part of the 73-acre project. They will be renovating and constructing the pier and the different marine aspects of the project.
