Yeshivas Toras Avos Held Shabbos Hisvaadus and Siyum on Seder Moed at HCS Resort

Yeshivas Toras Avos recently held its annual Shabbos hisvaadus, bringing together bochurim and staff for a weekend of learning, tefillah, and connection.
The Shabbos took place at the HCS Resort, where the yeshiva traveled by coach bus on Friday morning. Preparations began weeks in advance. In addition to the regular seder hayeshiva, bochurim learned masechtos of Mishnayos in order to complete a siyum on all of Seder Moed, which was held at the Melaveh Malkah.
Part of the yeshiva’s ongoing Shovavim program was also incorporated into the Shabbos. Alongside the general focus on avodas hamiddos, each bochur works on an individual middah selected in consultation with the Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Bentzion Weberman shlit”a, together with the mechanchim.
Throughout Shabbos, the schedule included a shiur on the history of Klal Yisrael, divrei hisorerus from the Rosh Yeshiva between Minchah and Kabbalas Shabbos, and singing and farbrengen during the seudos. During the Shabbos seudah, a maggid shiur publicly mentioned a specific maalah of each bochur present.
Motzaei Shabbos featured a Melaveh Malkah combined with the siyum on Seder Moed. Certificates and gifts were distributed following a comprehensive chazarah on Maseches Kiddushin. Bochurim then joined together in singing and dancing with the rabbanim and staff.
