Aleksander Cheder Closes On New Building

The Aleksander cheder in Boro Park is celebrating an exciting milestone with the acquisition of a new building to serve its rapidly growing student body. Established just 11 years ago, the cheder has quickly gained a reputation as one of the most sought-after mosdos in Boro Park, which led to the recent addition of parallel classes to accommodate the many talmidim.

The newly acquired 16,000 square foot structure, located on 62nd Street between 16th and 17th Avenue, will be thrown down to make space for a sprawling 50,000 square foot building that will be built on the property.

And in an unplanned twist, the new cheder is actually located directly across the street from the two Aleksander mesivtos, creating a street corner dedicated entirely to the Aleksander mosdos.
