Flood Watch In Effect In NYC

Starting 2pm this afternoon, a flood watch is in effect in NYC due to predicted rainfall.  

The flood watch will be in effect until 12am tonight, with a total of 3 inches of rain possible. 

The rain might cause flooding in roadways, and drivers and pedestrians are urged to move to higher ground during heavy rain and avoid flooded areas.
