NYPD Seeks Perp After Robbing An Elderly Woman

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man connected to a robbery of an 80-year-old woman in the 66th Precinct.
Police said the incident occurred Tuesday, October 7, at 3:41 p.m., near Ocean Parkway and Church Avenue. The woman was sitting on a bench when the man approached and verbally confronted her. As she walked toward her home, he pushed her and took her cellphone before fleeing north on Ocean Parkway. The victim was not injured, and her cellphone was later recovered at the scene.
The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds, last seen wearing a black jacket, white sweatpants, a black hat, and gray sneakers.
