Power Outage Shuts Down Several Subway Lines
By Y.M. Lowy
A power outage hit the subway system causing major delays for thousands of riders.
The MTA says B and C trains are not running at all in either direction. Parts of the A and D lines are also shut down. Other trains, like the E and G, are running but with delays, and the F train is being sent on a different route than usual.
There are unconfirmed reports that a train might be stuck on the Manhattan Bridge.
Crews are working to fix the problem, but for now, subway riders should expect longer trips and crowded platforms.
