Junior Chef: Apple Roses
Perfect time of year for the apple of your eye to prepare this simple yet beautiful recipe.
You will need
- Red apples
- Puff pastry sheets
Step #1: Cut apples very thinly in half-moon shapes and soak in water.
Step #2: Cut puff pastry sheets into strips and spread jam on it
Step #3: Start by placing apples at the edge of the pastry strip
Step #4: Fold the end of the pastry strip over the apples and start rolling up from one end to the next.
Step #5: Place apple strips in a lined cupcake tin and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with confectionary sugar, and enjoy!
