Stretch of 51st Street to Be Repaved Wednesday

The DOT is continuing the summer project of repaving many streets in Boro Park during a time when there is less foot and vehicle traffic. 

Today, Tuesday, saw a repaving of about half a mile along 12th Avenue, and a number of cars were towed from the area. 

On Wednesday, 51st Street will be repaved from 16th Avenue until Dahill Road. This includes two dead-end streets as well. 

Parking is prohibited from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and violators will have their cars towed.
