AG Barr to Visit Boro Park Today to Discuss Anti-Semitism

Boro Park – Attorney General William Barr will be in Boro Park Tuesday morning for a meeting with Jewish community organizations from around the country about the rise in anti-Semitic violence.
The meeting, which will take place at the Boro Park Jewish Community Council, is likely the first visit by a U.S. attorney general to the neighborhood in over a half century. The last time came in 1967, when Attorney General Robert Kennedy was campaigning for the Democratic presidential nod.
Attendees, based on reports or tweets, include Allen Fagin of the Orthodox Union, Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel of Agudath Israel, Moshe Duvid Niederman of the Williamsburg UJO, Rabbi Meir Soloveitchik and Michael Miller of the JCRC.
