BDE: Mrs. Ida Bohensky, a”h

We are saddened to inform you of the sudden passing of Mrs. Bohensky. She was in her seventies. 

The nifteres, together with her late husband, were pillars of the Agudas Yisroel Snif Chofetz Chaim on Eighteenth Avenue for decades. 

Living on the block of Yeshiva Karlin Stolin, she joined the yeshiva in its early years as a secretary. 

She is remembered to this day by the talmidim for her dedication to them and the yeshiva, and the administration of that era recall how much she did—above and beyond the call of duty—as the yeshiva was being established. 

Mrs. Bohansky passed away suddenly on Friday night, and she leaves behind a beautiful Torah family. 

The levaya will take place at 12:30 in Shomrei Hadas
