YS Gold

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Shloime Meir Misky, a beloved member of the Slonimer kehillah in Boro Park. He was 65 years of age.

The niftar was born to his father, Reb Moshe Ephraim Misky in Toronto, and learned in the local yeshivos, including yesodei haTorah and Bobov. Later, he learned in the Slonimer yeshiva in Yerushalayim, where he became an ardent chossid for life. He also kept a strong kesher with the Skulen and Bobover chassidus.

He is remembered for his constant smile, and his willingness to help others. In his quiet manner, he would help many people.

In later years, it was difficult for him to walk. The Skulener Rebbe zt”l, would come down the steps to meet Reb Shloime.

The Levaya will take place at 4:15 in front of the Slonimer shul, 1310 46th Street. From there the aron will proceed to Monsey for burial in the Har Shulem Cemetery. A second Levaya will take place there around 6:00.

Yehi zichro baruch.
