Captured moment: Rabbi Braun’s Shul

This week’s captured moment takes us to a shul which was located in a home on 11th Avenue. It was led by a distinguished rov of Hungarian origin who came to Boro Park in the early days.

Answer to last week’s captured moment: 

The Boro Park Torah Center was located on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 49th Street, and was led by Rav Chaim Avrohom Bialik, a rov and a rav hamachshir at Streits Matzoh bakery. The shul has since been torn down, and a medical facility sits in its place.
