Captured Moment: The Home of Famous Yeshivos

This week’s captured moment takes us to an enormous building in the center of Boro Park which had the merit to serve as a home for Torah for just about forty years now—first as a Mesivta high school and in recent years as a preschool.

Answer to last week’s captured moment: 

The Mapleton Park Jewish Center was located at 42 Avenue O, and in 1940 had a Talmud Torah as well. 

Today, the Avenue O Jewish Center exists in a building adjacent to this site that has served as a center for spirituality for the are for so many years.
