Happy Town was a day camp which was run by two Lubavitcher chassidim—Rabbi Dovid Yarmush and Rabbi Kalman Katlowitz— in the 1950’s and 60’s. It was a division of the Beth Rivka Jewish Centre (the Lubavitcher girls’ school). The home stood at the corner of 15th Avenue and 48th Street, across from Congregation Beth El .
