Cyberattack at The State Legislature

Gov. Hochul announced that the State Legislature experienced a cyberattack last week Thursday. 

The Legislative Bill Drafting Commission was impacted by the attack, and it happened while Hochul and the Legislature were working to finalize the state budget. The timing of the cyberattack raises questions about the potential motives behind the breach and its potential implications on the state's financial planning.

As of last night the source of the attack is still being investigated.
