Free Buses to D.C. to Muster Boro Parkers Support for Tuesday’s Historic March for Israel Rally

BoroPark24 Staff

Free seating on buses leaving Boro Park is available as askanim and community leaders are encouraging attendance at the March for Israel rally taking place on Tuesday, November 14.

The event is meant to show solidarity with Israel and to urge the U.S. government to stand firm in its support.

Agudath Israel of America is encouraging attendance saying, "In light of the ongoing life-threatening danger confronting Israeli soldiers and all of our dear brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel, and with great concern about the extremely volatile political climate here in the United States, we feel it is important, midarchei ha’shtadlonus, that there be a large turnout at this event."

The March for Israel initiative is part of the effort to unite Jews from around the country to meet in Washington, D.C.,  for a strong show of support at a mass pro-Israel rally that will hopefully rival major Jewish demonstrations in 2002 and 1987 in size and, more importantly, in impact.

The March for Israel rally has three goals wrapped into the singular goal of showing tremendous support for Israel: demanding the return of the estimated 240 hostages taken by Hamas terrorists,: calling for escalated efforts to combat antisemitism spiking worldwide since the attack; and demonstrating for continued support for the entire backing Israel has so far received from both parties in Congress and the Biden administration.

The rally will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the National Mall, with gates opening at 10 a.m.

FREE buses from Boro Park Y Senior Center will leave from 4910 14th Avenue on Tuesday morning.

Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
