Hiker Airlifted After Twenty-Foot Fall off Mountain Trail

A 20-year-old hiking in Ellenville near Ulster Heights Road suffered a head injury after falling nearly 20 feet from the trail. 

Catskill Hatzalah was at the scene, assisted by local police and fire rescue units in carefully lifting the patient back onto the mountain trail. From there, he was transported in serious condition by helicopter to Albany Hospital.

The klal is asked to daven for a refuah sheleimah for Chuna Nosson ben Miriam Raizel.
