History in Bobov: Two Dayonim Installed Alongside Veteran Bobover Dayan, shlit”a

 For decades, Rav Chaim Yaakov Tauber, shlit”a, has stood at the helm of the Bobover Kehillah as the Moreh Hora’ah, issuing halachic rulings, and serving as a distinguished, revered figure in the chassidus.

 With the growth the community, the Bobover Rebbe Shlit”a encouraged taking on additional dayonim to serve as assistants to the Rav Tauber. Motzei Shabbos priory to maariv, in attendance of thousands, this historic event took place—with previously-known figures being officially installed.

 Rav Tauber spoke about his distinct privilege in serving the chasidus for these past decades, and noted that with the growth of the Chassidus, he suggested to the Rebbe shlita, the appointment of Rav Chaim Shloime Halberstam, a son-in-law of the Rebbe, and his son, Rav Shalom Yitzchok Tauber, shlit”a.

 The Rebbe then spoke about the caliber of the two assistant-dayonim, and how they are well known for their hasmodoh in learning, their grasp of issues, as well as their relatability to everyday matters.

 As shabbos concluded in Bobov, it was with a sense of excitement, and a new chapter in its glorious history.
