Op-Ed: BPJCC Brings Heightened Awareness to the Importance of No Boro Park Home Being Without Fire Insurance

By BoroPark24 Staff

The tragic string of three fires in Boro Park over the last week has highlighted the importance of every home having fire insurance.

The cost of the insurance is a mere $200-$300 a year - only 75 cents per day, while the cost of not having fire insurance is potentially devastating.

The time is now to heed the clarion call of our askanim who have been telling the community for years that fire insurance is of the essence, including BoroPark24 just last month after three fires raged through Boro Park in under 24 hours.

While the BPJCC, in partnership with Senator Simcha Felder, has arranged for thousands of smoke detectors for local residents at no charge through the American Red Cross over the past few years – this initiative is not enough alone.

After this newest spate of fires, it has become clear, now more than ever, that residents must reach out to their insurance broker and procure this vital and inexpensive insurance.

Don't wait - get insured today!
