Pupa Rebbe Will Lead Contingent of Institutions’ Supporters to Hungary and Romania
The new Pupa Talmud Torah in building Boro Park is nearing completion, and will stand as a towering edifice of chinuch at the edge of Boro Park—greeting the comers and goers into and out of the neighborhood with the sound of Torah of tinnokos shel bais rabban.
This mossad is but one of the numerous institutions under the Pupa banner, and it costs millions of dollars every year to support this empire of Torah and chassidus—something that would be impossible without the generosity of donors.
In recognition of their generosity, the Pupa Rebbe will join a pilgrimage of donors to the holy places of Hungary and Romania giving the chasidim the opportunity to Daven with their rebbe and spend the uplifting days in his great presence. The highlight of the trip will be an uplifted Shabbos, together with the Rebbe, in the town of Satu-Mare, Romania, where the Rebbe’s forbear, the Keren L’Duvid (Rav Eliezer Duvid Greenwald), served as rov and Rosh Yeshiva, and is interred, effecting yeshu’os for themselves and for all those who support the mission handed down to them by the tzaddikim of yore.
