Satmar Mosdos Purchases Two Additional Lots for $4.1M

Construction is intensely underway at the future home of Beis Rochel d’Satmar girls’ school on the corner of 14th Avenue and 62nd Street. 

Amid this comes the news that the kehillah has purchased the two adjacent lots on 62nd Street giving an additional 6,000 square feet to the building. 

This will require tens of millions of dollars to be brought in in the coming year to fund the construction on this additional space, but the leadership of the kehillah insists that this is a necessary stride for the welfare of the mosdos. 

This move is being done with an eye to the future, in anticipation that the building will be completely full on day one, and in need of more space.
