Spinka Rebbe in Eretz Yisroel for Bar Mitzvah of Eldest Great-grandchild

Following a number of years in which he has not been to the holy land, the Spinka Rebbe has departed for Eretz Yisroel on Monday for a quick, two-day visit. 

The occasion is the bar mitzvah of the Rebbe’s eldest great-grandchild—a grandson of the Rebbe’s son-in-law, Rav Osher Yeshaya Eichenstein, the rov of the Spinka Beis Medrash in Bnei Brak. The bar mitzvah will take place on Wednesday. 

Spinka chassidim in Eretz Yisroel are greeting this news with joy, as many have not seen the Rebbe in a number of years, and it had seemed that, due to the Rebbe’s health condition, this trip would not be a possibility. 

The Rebbe will return home on Thursday, be’ezras Hashem.
