BDE: Reb Refoel Dembitzer, z”l

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Reb Refoel Dembitzer, z”l, one of the most senior Bobover chassidim. He was 94 years of age. 

The niftar was born in Dzikov, in prewar Galicia, and still merited to see the Kedushas Tzion of Bobov, zt”l, as well as other tzaddikim whom he remembered for all his life. 

He was zoche to survive the war, and remained an ardent Bobover chossid, rebuilding a chassidishe, Torah’dige home from the ashes of the Holocaust. 

One of his “Chazukes” was to supply lulavim to the Divrei Shloime of Bobov, as well as ybl”ch, the current Bobover Rebbe shlita. Every motzei Yom Kippur, he would bring a selection of beautiful lulavim to the ruv, and he would choose from among them. 

Reb Refoel leaves behind children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren who are a credit to his legacy. 

The Levaya is taking place in front of the Bobover beis medrash at 9:30 this morning.
